India Program Director

Being a Program Director in Surat, India with Dr. Interns provides an array of possibilities. So what are some of the responsibilities of our Directors?
The Program Directors work closely with Dr. Interns to ensure that all logistics of the Medical and Cultural Internship are properly carried out. The main role of the Program Director is to oversee the activities of the program participants. This will include:
- Directing daily Rotations
- Facilitating discussions and information sessions (both formal and informal)
- Implementing cultural activities
- Chaperoning on excursions
- Translating (Gujarati)
- Supervising safety and wellbeing
The Program Directors are required to serve as a positive role model for the program participants and ensure that the environment is comfortable and safe and that everyone feels included.

Your lodging, meals, entertainment, and other items are covered and provided by our staff. (Airfare, passport / visa fees, and vaccinations are still the responsibility of the Program Director)
